Opportunity Enterprises

Opportunity Enterprises. LLC is a for-profit business wholly owned by the non-profit Opportunity Center. Opportunity Enterprises includes three separate businesses:

  • Opportunities Blooming is a greenhouse operation that grows high-quality flowers and plants, including some vegetables and fruit. Started in 2010, Opportunities Blooming provides integrated community employment opportunities for disabled adults.
  • The Local Oven brings a local bakery back to the Prairie du Chien area. With a retail storefront in downtown Prairie du Chien and other products appearing on store-shelves and menus throughout the area, The Local Oven will operate inside the new Sharing Spaces Kitchen and source as many local ingredients as possible.

    Prairie du Chien’s Opportunity Center is an organization focused on enhancing the lives of individuals with disabilities since 1965.

    The Opportunity Center is driven by a “person centered” philosophy. Everyone should have the chance to actively work toward fulfilling their personal goals and dreams. We create opportunities for persons with disabilities to develop their full potential in society.
